Unity is strength ! The Sint Maarten / Saint Martin destination booth will be inaugurated at the 62nd Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, located in the “Yachting Capital of the World” from October 27 to 31. A first with the presence of the Yacht Club de Port de Plaisance, the various marinas, local businesses and tourist offices on the island.
The five-day fair attracts more than 100 participants and 000 exhibitors representing 1 countries. “The yachting season has arrived and it's time to show the world what we have to offer,” said Sharrita Mills, Marketing Director YCPDP (Yacht Club de Port de Plaisance).
This exhibit will highlight the key importance of Sint Maarten / Saint-Martin as a global yachting destination, while showcasing everything that makes the destination unique and unforgettable. “We hope that with this event, future customers traveling to the Caribbean will be motivated to make our island their primary destination,” said Jeff Boyd, Managing Director of YCPDP.
Yachting tourism is an emerging industry in the Caribbean, growing demand has resulted in a significant increase in supply in the yachting service and business markets. Many Caribbean islands are taking advantage of these opportunities and Sint Maarten / Saint-Martin should be at the forefront.
