On Monday, October 4, the educational community of the Robert Weinum general and technological high school commemorated “the international day of non-violence”. As a reminder, this day takes place every year on the anniversary of Mahatma's birth. GANDHI (02/10/1869), one of the pioneers in the struggle for non-violence.
On this occasion, an awareness-raising and information campaign aimed at 132 pupils in second year classes was carried out. The objective was to encourage students to cultivate peaceful and effective communication while relying on a technique of conflict prevention and resolution:
"Clear messages" in order to promote a calm atmosphere in the school establishment.
Each of the seven classes benefited from an awareness session supported by a projection of a micro-sidewalk created in and around the school by a student from 1st year of BTS Gestion PME, BRUNO Jhosé. The interview was about the definition of violence and the means of action to fight against it. Role plays were proposed, in order to implement the methods discussed.
