Two young people from Saint-Martin were taken into police custody last Tuesday for extortion to the detriment of the CHELSEA mini-market on rue Lady Fish on February 13 (they arrive by scooter, show a weapon and are given the fund of 500 dollars), and the NEW CITY convenience store at Sandy-Ground on February 23 (two people on scooters, handguns and similar operating procedures). Both could be identified thanks to the images filmed by the CCTV cameras.
The two individuals were presented, one before the children's judge last Wednesday for indictment and judicial control (minor up to 24 hours before the facts ... referred to the TPE next March 21 for thefts but never convicted) .
The other, an adult (born in 1995, already sentenced in his absence last October for theft of boats and scooters on Saint-Barthélemy) was presented before the liberty and detention judge who is to order his detention on remand pending his judgment today in Basse-Terre in immediate appearance. _AF
