From January 4 to 10, a friendly junior tournament was held bringing together the selections of Sint-Maarten, Saint-Martin and the novelty, the reception of the selection of Canada north zone "NUNAVUT" in men and women.
This tournament organized by the Dutch committee took place at the LB SCOTT gymnasium and offered a beautiful show for all interested.
In the return leg, the teams played as if it was a competition with the rage to win.
Saint Martin was represented with a female team only.
The direct resumption by this type of event, just after the holidays, without training was a little complicated in front of the Dutch and Canadian team wanting to do battle.
Complicate because the girls had to face several difficulties:
- Find your overall level of play
- Apply new formations and combinations during the match
- Give playing time to new players while reassuring old ones
- And of course, winning in order to maintain morale. Mission accomplished: Saint-Martin finished in first place, 2nd in the CANADA selection, 3rd in Sint Maarten.

Next step, double internship in February:
- Internship for the news in order to draw the new selection U15
- Preparation course for the current U18 selection for nearby competitions in Martinique.
