Sylves Amandha, Pia Szewczyk (club ASCL) and Duruo Shantel (club BLASTERZ) entered the Pôle Espoirs de Boulouris and the Pôle France in Toulouse following a detection.

The President of the Development Pole of the Volleyball League of the Northern Islands, Jean-Luc Lezin gives us his impressions on our ambassadors of Saint-Martin volleyball.

“Shantel Duruo must continue on his path. A professional contract awaits him in the professional club of Saint-Raphaël when he comes of age. Amandha Sylves, 1 m tall and only 92 years old, is the future replacement for Cannes player Raava. Amandha will make her entry into the French junior team at the end of July where she will compete in Portugal. In addition, in 15, she will compete in the European Championship. Obviously, a professional contract will reach out to him from the age of 2017. For her part, Pia Szewczyk (ASCL club) joined the Pôle France Juniors in Toulouse. She made her debut for the France Juniors team, playing at the top position. Recently, with her national team, Pia and her teammates qualified in Slovenia during the Under-18 tournament ”.

The Saint-Martin Volleyball League can be proud of its results recorded in recent months by its women's section. Beach Volleyball is not left out with the two pairs Valérie Damaseau - Audrey Gil and Mélody Benhamou - Jacqueline Hodge who are training daily to qualify in El Salvador next month. The least we can say is that Volleyball and Beach Volleyball are two disciplines that are doing well in Saint-Martin! _AF
