This Saturday April 10 and Sunday April 11, the Sint Maarten Yacht Club (SMYC) is organizing the Grant Thornton Multi Class Regatta, considered the largest annual dinghy regatta.
All classes of dinghies, Optimist, Laser, RS Quest, Laser Pico and Sunfast 20 will compete on the Simpson Bay body of water.
Due to a very tight regatta program, the organizers ask participants to be punctual for this competition, whose registration will take place this Friday, April 9, between 15 p.m. and 18 p.m.
Participants on ES Quest, Optimist and Laser Pico must arrive on the platform between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m., will follow the competitors on Laser between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., then wait for the bridge to open at 9 a.m.
