Véronique Bertille, delegate ambassador for regional cooperation Antilles Guyane, met last week Louis Fleming, territorial advisor in charge of regional cooperation, at the Hôtel de la Collectivité.
Véronique Bertille was present in Saint-Martin as part of the meeting of the international cooperation commission for the AGOA marine sanctuary, reports the Collectivité. On this occasion, the ambassador also met with elected officials and discussed issues relating to regional cooperation. Among the subjects discussed, that of sargassum and “in particular the international initiative launched by the Minister of Overseas, George Pau-Langevin, with regard to the pooling of research and studies on the origin and movement of these algae, and sharing practices in terms of care ”.
