After a first phase of action conditioned by the post-irma emergency, the Compagnons Bâtisseurs are now implementing an action based on duration which is characterized by a local presence in the heart of two districts, Sandy Ground and Quartier d'Orléans, materialized by two fitted containers, one at Sandy Ground near the Jérôme Beaupère school, the other in the Orléans district along the main N7 road, at the corner of dead end Barry, St Georges district.
The objective is the improvement of the habitat and the improvement of the living environment, by supporting the inhabitants in their projects in order to give them the means to carry them out. It is no longer "doing for", it is rather "doing with" and "doing together".
The first element put in place is a toolkit allowing the loan of the tools necessary for the finishing work: power tool (drill, grinder, sander, planer, nibbler, circular saw, chipper, karcher) as well as concrete mixer, site trestles, small scaffolding tools and small tools (keys, pliers, etc.)

Painting workshop N ° 1: tool recognition, recapping technique, soil protection.
• Tuesday April 23:
Small electrical repair workshop: awareness of the risk of electrocution, notion of electric circuit, replacement of a socket and a switch, manufacture of a desk lamp
• Thursday April 25:
Painting workshop N ° 2: preparation of funds, control of coatings, plaster joint technique, crack repair, cleaning and maintenance of tools.
• Thursday May 2:
Painting workshop N ° 3: organization and implementation of a painting site, painting a ceiling, painting an entire room, cleaning the site.
• Thursday May 9:
Plumbing workshop: replacement of a tap, replacement and maintenance of a siphon, replacement of a flush, loss of water and economy.

Wood workshop N ° 1: manufacture of furniture, shelf and seat, from reclaimed wood.

Wood workshop N ° 2: manufacturing a wooden bunk bed and optimizing the interior space
