Thanks to the sustained partnership of the State and its institutional partners (Pôle Emploi - CGSS - CAF), the Collectivity of Saint-Martin opened two Public Service Houses (MSAP) in the territory of Saint-Martin, the first to Sandy-Ground in April and the second in Quartier d'Orléans, inaugurated on September 24. A promise from the president and his team who were committed to providing local administrative services in the neighborhoods.

These two MSAPs represent significant aid for the population living away from the administrative centers generally located in Marigot. These Administrative Houses are also a valuable relay for people affected by Hurricane Irma and who need a listening ear and personalized advice.

MSAPs provide citizens with a first level of information and support. This work is carried out by community agents trained by the Pôle Emploi, CGSS and CAF. These staff are intended to help the public to accomplish certain administrative tasks but also to give personalized advice according to the problems encountered. Two community agents and 5 civic service volunteers are thus at the service of the public in each MSAP.

Our two public service houses also welcome the Trait d'Union - France Victime association, which provides psychological support to people in difficulty. The ADIE association, which helps people who do not have access to bank credit to set up their business, also holds its offices there.

"I am convinced that it is by this type of initiative that we will enhance public service, while strengthening the confidence of our population by knowing how to listen, surround them, reassure them," said President Gibbs during the inauguration.

Hours: The Sandy Ground MSAP is open Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 15 p.m. The MSAP in Quartier d'Orléans is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 15:30 p.m.
