The dengue vaccine from the French laboratories Sanofi would be more than 80% effective in subjects aged nine years and over. The first results of clinical trials of this experimental vaccine were published earlier this week in the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM). Currently, treatment is primarily symptomatic. Note that "aspirin and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are contraindicated due to the risk of bleeding," says the Ministry of Health.
