After the passage of Irma, the community had suspended the regularization of plots located in the band of 50 geometric steps. The ad hoc committee met again at the beginning of June and studied thirty new requests for plots located in Marigot, Grand Case, Quartier d'Orléans and l'Embouchure. Nineteen obtained a favorable opinion.
The executive council did not approve six files for various reasons, in particular because all the requested documents were not provided. For another file, the request was made by the tenant of the house and not by the person claiming the property. For yet another, it turned out that the land belonged to the coastal conservatory.
Four cases at Grand Case were stayed pending due to a conflict between the community and the reserve and another at the mouth because the land was partially backfilled on the pond belonging to the Conservatoire du coastline, the construction being located at the limit of the public thoroughfare.
