A friendly ceremony organized at the EHPAD Bethany Home

To mark the new year, the EHPAD Bethany Home organized a convivial ceremony in the presence of the regional councilor Annette Philips, President of the EHPAD, the director of the establishment, Jean-Marie Marchais, representatives of the State and of the Regional Health Agency, represented by its director, Pascal Godefroy, as well as representatives of the Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin hospital centers and partners of the territory's Health. 

In her word of welcome, the President of the EHPAD first wanted to greet the residents and the staff of Bethany Home who went through difficult times during the passage of Hurricane IRMA on September 6. "I would like to thank the staff for the good preparation before the cyclone and the quality of the work accomplished with our residents," she said, before thanking the associations, services and individuals who were involved in the good performance of Bethany Home in recent months.

The President then recalled the urgency to widen the offer of care on the territory, by creating services adapted to the needs of Saint-Martin patients, in particular through the realization of the Medico-social Pole project, which is on a good way of realization.

“Like the other territories of the Republic, Saint-Martin must be able to join in the modernization of its infrastructures and increase the quality of services to the person in the long term. This necessary project is well under way, it should allow us to pool functional means and reduce operating costs, "said A.
