Forced to postpone the evening of last December due to blockages, the Founding President and the members of the new Leo Club Alpha, are organizing Sunday, February 16, the presentation of the Charter and the birth of their Leo Club "SAFARI Island of St Martin", sponsored by the Clubs Doyen Île de St Martin and Lions Club Fort Louis.
The LEO Club is a service club, whose acronym is: "Leadership Experience Opportunity" translating the personal commitment of members in the club, allowing them to take responsibility, to experience and take advantage of opportunities.
The LEO movement is a goddaughter association of LIONS CLUB INTERNATIONAL, which shares the same human values, the same motto "We serve", the same objectives and carries out joint actions with LIONS, but also own actions. The LEO Club brings together young people from 12 to 18 years old who want to "Act for others".
La Ceremony of presentation of Charter and certificates will be made by Governor Anne-Marie BEAUBRUN of District 63. This event will be held on Sunday February 16 at 18 pm at the Yacht Club restaurant at the Marina Fort-Louis in Marigot.
