A new college patent

0

Students who are in third will take a new college certificate at the end of the school year. According to the draft decree, the 2018 patent will take place in four written tests: French, mathematics, history-geography, moral and civic education and science (including physics-chemistry, SVT and technology). An oral will be added and will relate to a project carried out within the framework of interdisciplinary practical teaching (PPE) or on the history of the arts.

At the same time, students will be marked on their skills, their knowledge; the evaluation of these skills provided by the base counts as much as the tests to be taken in June.

Base assessment

The “knowledge, skills and cultures base” corresponds to what the pupil must know at the end of compulsory education. It will be evaluated by a professor who will award points. There will be 10, 25, 40 or 50 points depending on whether the skills are insufficient, fragile, satisfactory or very good. The student will be questioned on eight components and will be able to obtain a maximum of 400 points.

June events

Five tests are to be taken in June: French / mathematics / history-geography, moral and civic education / written sciences and an oral in art history or EPI. Each of these tests will be marked in points. The maximum to be reached in French, mathematics and oral is 100, in science and geo history 50.

Obtaining the patent

A student will be accepted if he obtains a minimum of 400 points out of the 800 that he can obtain by passing the June tests and the assessments of the base.
