Suspected of being involved in drug trafficking via airport facilities, a 26-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested on May 12 by Sint Maarten police.
467 grams of narcotic drugs were discovered in the freight section of Juliana airport.
Three days later, the police arrested another individual, 24, suspected of having imported 2 grams of drugs into the territory.
Last week, two other arrests, of a woman and a man, took place. They are allegedly involved in the drug trafficking case via Juliana. During the investigation, the police intercepted 5,4 kg of drugs.
