The United Stars association organized on Saturday April 21, an inter-island football tournament. Three categories were concerned, the U7, U9 and U11, represented by four clubs from Saint-Martin, one from Saint-Barthélemy and one from Sint-Maarten, making a total of 200 young footballers!
The day started with a mini-championship for the U7 and U9 categories where the numerous youth teams present each played six games.
On the U11 side, the different teams were divided into two pools. After three “league formula” matches, the top two in each group qualified directly for the semi-finals.
And the least we can say is that the atmosphere went up a notch during the qualifying matches, supporters and parents giving voice in the stands to encourage their favorite team!
As for the result, a big BRAVO to United Stars which won 1st place in the ranking, ahead of Risc Tackers and Saint-Barth.
A nod also to Kyliane Manier (category U 11), winner of the juggling competition (note: 60 in total).

In the middle of the afternoon came the awards ceremony. The opportunity for the vice-president of United Stars to thank all the players, educators, volunteers, parents, supporters and to "SAMARPAINT" who fully contributed to the success of this day dedicated to football!
