From July 9 to 11, the Saint-Martin Tourist Office carried out an operation to promote our destination to Martinican friends who, like the Guadeloupeans, come more often to the island during the two-month school holidays.

Despite travel restrictions linked to the health crisis, the Saint-Martin Tourist Office has maintained its “Saint-Martin is the place to be” operation in Martinique, in order to boost regional attendance as soon as health constraints are met. relaxed. A first edition of this promotional operation, carried out with RCI Martinique and presented on the airwaves by the essential Charly, took place from July 9 to 11 in partnership with the Grand-Case Beach Club and Air Antilles.

In the presence of the regional representative of the Tourist Office, Patrick Deffit, who came from Martinique for the occasion, more than 20 interviews of 2 minutes were conducted in Saint-Martin and broadcast live on RCI Martinique to promote the strengths of our destination and offer promotional rates for the benefit of listeners. Accommodation, catering, activities ... A dozen tourism players have benefited from this highlighting.

 

Impact: 200.000 listeners

The Tourist Office has endeavored to guide the RCI Martinique teams in order to direct them towards everything that makes the charm of our little paradise. "Throughout the direct, the impact of this promotion was undeniable, reservations were taken immediately despite the current restrictions" welcomes Grégoire Dumel, responsible for the local and regional market at the Tourist Office. If inter-island travel is currently limited, it is a question of continuing to mark the spirits and to prepare the ground for a period more conducive to travel.

With 200.000 listeners, RCI is the leading radio station in Martinique and has a very significant strike force for such a promotional operation. Other editions of “Saint-Martin is the place to be” will be scheduled.
