At the head of the company Sparkle Cleaning, Kevin Stephen carries out the cleaning and disinfection of hotel accommodation. A profession, certainly in the shadows, but nevertheless essential to the quality of the reception of tourists in Saint-Martin.

Kevin Stephen has been working for tourism for almost 20 years. After running a men's clothing store in Marigot and working in a mental health clinic in Boston, in 2004 he created his cleaning company which provides housekeeping services to luxury hotels, villas, businesses and real estate agencies. . The company is particularly specialized in the treatment of natural stones: “marble, granite, terrazo…, we clean and polish and treat all natural stones”, explains Kevin Stephen.

Faced with a growing demand for new services, “Kevin's Clean” quickly became “Sparkle Services”. “We now offer a lot more than just cleaning,” says Kevin Stephen. The company is particularly involved in end-of-work cleaning and surface disinfection. With the arrival of Covid-19, it is today a leader in disinfection linked to the virus.

This shadow profession, Kevin Stephen chose it and is proud of it. “Being a Saint-Martinois and being able to work in luxury hotels and villas gives me a lot of satisfaction”. A satisfaction that he can "give back to the community" by working in the service of his territory. “Let's not forget that we all benefit from tourism,” he emphasizes.
