To your agendas! On November 17 and 18, the Anse Marcel ASMT shooting club is pleased to organize its first international speed sport shooting competition in Saint-Martin.
The courses will be divided into three squats namely (team) and they will be both at the covered stand as at the two other outdoor shooting sites.
No less than 50 shooters will participate in this high-level event.
One thing is certain, the show will be there! The shooters will compete on 12 courses with the objective of making a maximum of points in a minimum of time.
Five categories are represented called division namely:
Standart, Open, Production, Classic and Revolver.
Note that each division must meet a certain criterion in order to compete.
The shooters are equipped with holsters at the waist with the magazines and their competition weapons.
At the start, the latter will have to complete courses in record time with a maximum of points, avoiding non-shootable targets.
Each course is different with paper and metal targets or even mobile and sometimes even disappearing.
There are three kinds of routes:
Short no more than 9 strokes
Medium Up to 22 shots
Long up to 32 shots.
The shooters will have to combine precision, skill and speed.
The opportunity also for the public to come and discover this discipline which will welcome top level shooters, the competition will be supervised by national and international referees.
Shots begin at 8 a.m. Saturday morning until 17 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
