The association "Les Archers de Saint-Martin" organized on Sunday February 27 an "Open Doors" day on its land (shooting pitch) located in Galisbay. The opportunity for the large public to learn about archery through various activities organized throughout this festive day.
The aim of the “Open Doors” day was to introduce children and adults to this sporting discipline, but also to promote the association and attract new members.
President of the association "Les Archers de Saint-Martin" since 2013, Yohan Antoine did not hide his satisfaction after this beautiful day which brought together many people on the Galisbay shooting range. “Each year, in March, we offer a discovery license for people who have never been licensed in archery. This is also an opportunity for us to introduce our sport to the entire population.
This “Open House” day was a great success. As such, I would like to thank all the people who have contributed directly or indirectly to the success of our event. A special mention to Hélène for the perfect preparation of the event. Finally, a big thank you to the many sponsors who have given their support by offering many prizes”.
Between the fishing for gifts which was a great success with the children, the shooting on balloons hung on the targets and many other activities, the Archers of Saint-Martin made people happy! _AF
