0

The Maxime Béchu challenge which took place at TCISM for 5 days therefore ended last Sunday, through a "big" day of more than fifty matches. Indeed, the children of the two clubs of St-Barth and St-Martin clashed throughout the day through the tournament of "RED" for the little ones (6/7 years) and the tournament of "ORANGES", for 8 year olds with point counting formulas and special rules adapted to the age of children in relation to the FFT program. Also, the finals of 11/14 year old boys, 15/18 year old boys and girls for this last day and the tournament of "GREEN" (9/10 years) which had taken place, the day before, in this case, the Saturday.

In all and for all, 120 matches took place in 5 days, 80 participants being divided into 6 different categories.
The atmosphere between the children and the clubs present was excellent for this tournament in memory of Maxime, who, it should be remembered, had a real passion for tennis and many other sports.
Alexandre, the teacher and organizer of the event, would like to thank the host families, the referees and all the volunteers for the help provided.
A big thank you also to Valérie and Olivier Béchu who allow us, each year, to retain the event thanks to their generosity and their availability. Thanks to SPORTECH sponsors and to the Victor Schoelcher school.
