From Saturday 22 to Tuesday 25 May, on the grounds of the Sandy-Ground stadium, the 12th edition of the “ZE MAX” junior tennis tournament was held in honor of Maxime Béchu.
More than 60 participants aged between 6 and 14 years from the clubs of Saint-Barth and Saint-Martin gave us very good performances on the courts.
This tournament was created by Olivier Béchu in memory of his son Maxime, who left too early at the age of 17. It was also an opportunity for us to honor Olivier who passed away last year.
Valérie Béchu and her children would like to thank Amandine Brenne and Lorenza from ASCCO club, Yves Lacoste, Greg Gumbs and Lee Sorrento from SBTC in St Barthélemy and Philippe Alonso, Laurence Lefranc, Christine Rousseau, Valérie Zaharia-Serero from TCISM and Eve-Marie Gravel .
