Despite a lower rate of participants compared to 2016, 164 boats took part this year in the 37th edition of the Heineken Regatta.
A new meeting which allowed the French skipper, Lionel Péan, aboard "SFS II" to pulverize, last Friday, with his crew, the record for the tour of the island in two hours, ten minutes and thirty-seven seconds!
Despite difficult sea conditions with strong winds and troughs of more than four meters, the "sailors" of all horizons, known or unknown, professionals or amateurs, shared intense moments of emotion, sensations and fun during the three days of this ocean race like no other!
