In mid-September, during the last meeting of the FRnOG association, which unites informally the IP network operators operating in mainland France, the situation of Dauphin Telecom prompted a great solidarity action.
Indeed, under the impetus of Philippe Bourcier, animator of FRnOG as well as David Marciano, president of the Association of Alternative Telecom Operators and Nicolas Guillaume, secretary of the association, a call for donations was launched to the community. telecoms.
Thanks to the solidarity of donors, Ceriz, Cisco Systems, Infonegoce, Outscale and PulseHeberg / Netrix, more than € 40.000 of operator class hardware has been collected: 10Gb / s routers, 10Gb / s switches, routing modules , switching modules, PE router and VoIP sets,
The management of Dauphin Telecom would like to thank all the generous donors as well as the Midrange company which kindly lent its warehouse to centralize donations and took care of setting up the pallet.

At the same time, the members of FRnOG and AOTA will help Dauphin Telecom on a longer-term action: the deployment of buried optical fiber. Indeed, we know it today or rather since the passage of the Irma monster, we are no longer immune to anything (extreme weather conditions).
