The island of Saint-Martin will be represented by a delegation of bodybuilders at the Arnold's World Championships which will take place in Spain on September 16th.
For the very first time in its history, the island of Saint-Martin will be represented at the Arnold World Bodybuilding Championships in Spain. The Collectivity of Saint-Martin and its Tourist Office support this event.
Together, the vice-president in charge of human development, Dominique Louisy and the territorial councillors, Marc G. Menard, president of the sports commission and Valérie Damaseau, president of the Tourist Office, have decided to support the bodybuilding committee. Saint-Martinois (BFASM), for this trip and the actions carried out throughout the sporting year.
Since day one, the Collectivity has favored sports promotion and support for federations. Mr. Ménard works closely with associations and sports partners with the aim of strengthening support from the Collectivity to athletes and the sports sector.
The Tourist Office works alongside the Collectivity to make its contribution. Valérie Damaseau firmly believes in the need to put all our means into action to create a strong tourist product, integrating sports activities as promotional tools for our destination. “Sports tourism is one way forward,” she says.
The Saint-Martin sports delegation that will travel to Spain on September 16 is made up of François Carty, IFBB International Judge, Laura Morville, Qualification pro Bikini Fitness, and Joséphine Matthew, Elite Pro Bikini Fitness.
The Collectivity of Saint-Martin and its tourist office salute the work of the bodybuilding committee and wish its athletes success in these championships and to make our island shine beyond its borders.
