Go for it is one of the new projects of the Cobraced association. It aims to promote young people's access to sports and artistic activity, to offer them a balanced diet and to fight against the digital divide in Quartier d'Orléans.

Requested by the prefecture, the association launched this project in April 2021 in response to the health crisis. It was part of the Poverty Plan and was funded to the tune of 130 euros.

It made it possible to serve 871 breakfasts to young people, to prepare 375 educational lunches. Actions were also proposed to enable young people to make better use of computers. Another action implemented, the Mix Martial Art (MMA). In the end, the project benefited 218 young people. After consultation with the neighborhood educational teams, the association was able to observe that the social climate had greatly improved.

However, the project was suspended last March due to lack of funding. In order to continue it, the COM has "taken over, and we are looking for additional funding, it is a project that requires significant funding", says the director. (soualigapost.com)
