This morning, six people from Saint-Martin, Metropolitan France and Dominica are summoned to the Saint-Martin Criminal Court for having carried out work without authorization during 2018.
They are continued for the execution of work not authorized by a building permit and / or violation of the land use plan (POS). In each case, the Community is cited as a victim.
These files were examined within the framework of COPOLENU, the town planning and environment police committee.
In January 2018, the State announced that controls within the framework of COPOLENU would be carried out in order to verify the conditions of reconstruction (declaration of works or building permit, compliance with the PPRN). The controls also carry the social aspect with a verification of the workers' situations.
Two cases have already been tried, the Chez Raymond restaurants in Baie Rouge and the Bains in Grand-Case.
