On Sunday December 11, around 9:30 am, the lifeless body of a man was discovered floating in the lagoon of Simpson Bay, not far from the restaurant "Pink Iguana", located near the airport of Juliana.
Immediately alerted, the coast guard and the Saint-Maarten police went to the area and recovered the body in order to carry out the first investigations. According to the medical examiner, there is no indication for the moment that the death is of criminal origin.
