Sint Maarten: Car wreckage removal campaign for two weeks

0

The government of Sint Maarten announced yesterday that it is now launching a campaign to remove car wrecks from its territory.

Carcasses to be evacuated are identified by marking. Also the Minister Doran in charge of the project asks the population to remove their vehicle from the public highway if they do not want it to be evacuated. The cleaning campaign should be spread over two weeks. The press release does not specify the place of storage of the ELVs. The company Verde SXM, which processes end-of-life vehicles from the French part, was not contacted to receive, process and ship them.
