At the end of the morning of July 22, a robbery took place in a supermarket on Sucker Gardon Road. The Dutch police are encouraging witnesses to come forward.
Last Friday at around 11am, an unidentified gunman broke into the Five Star supermarket on Sucker Garden Road and left, stealing an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled on a scooter driven by an accomplice who was waiting for him outside the store. After committing the theft, the two individuals escaped towards Defiance and Upper Prince's Quarter. Sint Maarten Police are urging anyone who may have been in the immediate vicinity of Sucker Garden Road this Friday, July 30 at 22:11 a.m. who may have information to advance the investigation and lead to the arrest of the criminals, to share their testimony with the authorities. _VX
