SINT MAARTEN: 74 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed last week

The number of contaminations recorded last week in the Dutch part is still high with 74 new cases of covid-19 but it shows a decrease compared to previous weeks. This is the lowest figure observed since the beginning of January. As a reminder between 93 and 114 new cases had been confirmed every week in January, 406 over the whole month.

As of February 7, 200 people are in quarantine because they are contact cases but they have not been tested. 125 others are isolated at her home and are followed by the CPS.

The total number of people who have been infected since March is 1, of which 936 have been declared cured. On Sunday the number of active cases is 1.

Partly French, the last health bulletin reported during the last week of January 108 new cases including 38 permanent residents. The total number of cumulative cases is 1 (or 346, both figures are mentioned in the bulletin). The number of active cases was 1.
