“I was in a violent relationship with a man who regularly hit me in front of my children. He punched me, burned my clothes, and smashed everything in the house. I dared not talk about it and hid it from my family and friends. One day he threatened me with a gun. It was the time too many. I took refuge with my grandmother and I did everything to get rid of this relationship. It was very complicated but I succeeded and I managed to talk about it. I found support from a social worker, I also took some friends with me so that they too could manage. Today I encourage all women victims of violence to talk about it because we can get up.
