Forced to cancel the Fête de la Mer and the Forum this year  sea ​​trades due to the health crisis linked to the Covid-19, the nautical professionals in Saint-Martin have decided to bounce back by creating a new event: the Sea Festival.

Recall that the main objective of the Metimer association created in 2000 is to promote water sports in Saint-Martin, in order to develop this sector and all the activities related to it.

With the first edition of the Sea Festival to be held from July 10 to 12, the organizers have hit the nail on the head!

Indeed, the event will take place on four sites: Orient Bay, Galion Beach, Friar's Bay and Nettle Bay (Hôtel Hommage), or the four main spots on the French side where watersports and other centers are based. boating. A good opportunity also for operators to present their activities to the general public during the summer season.

Organized in partnership with the Tourist Office, the Sea Festival will allow young and old alike to benefit from the "Staycation" scheme and to use discount vouchers in the partner structures of the scheme.
