The Collectivity of Saint Martin, in partnership with the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Guadeloupe, decided to organize two competitions on tests for the recruitment of a total of twelve (12) corporal firefighters.
I. ORGANIZATION OF THE COMPETITIONS
a-First competition, called "EXTERNAL COMPETITION"
Number of positions: 6
This competition is open to candidates holding a title or diploma classified at least level V or a qualification recognized as equivalent to one of these titles or diplomas under the conditions set by the provisions of Chapter II of Decree No. 2007-196 of February 13, 2007.
b-Second competition, called "INTERNAL COMPETITION"
Number of positions: 6
This competition is open to candidates having the quality of volunteer firefighter, justifying at least three years of activity in this quality or as a young firefighter, volunteer of the civic service ensuring civil security missions, firefighter - Auxiliary or military firefighter of the Paris fire brigade, the Marseilles firefighters battalion or civil security training and intervention units and having successfully completed the initial firefighter training 2nd class volunteer or training deemed equivalent by the commission mentioned in article 7 of this decree.
This second competition is also open to candidates who are nationals of the Member States of the European Union or of another State which is a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, justifying a qualification deemed equivalent to that delivered to volunteer firefighters by the commission mentioned in article 7 and three years of activity.
II. CALENDAR OF EVENTS
The competition tests will take place in Saint Martin, according to the following calendar:
- Written and pre-admissibility tests on May 24, 2018;
- Eligibility sports events from June 25 to 30, 2018;
- Oral admission tests from 08 to 12 October 2018.

Registration files can be collected at the Savannah Relief Center, from Thursday, February 1, 2018, 08:00 a.m. (Saint Martin time 97150) and until Wednesday, March 14, 2018, 12:00 p.m. (Saint Martin time 97150):

b-Submission of application files

The deadline for registration for the full competition is Thursday March 15, 2018:
- before 12 noon (Saint Martin's hour 00) by deposit at the following address: Center de Secours de Saint Martin, lot 97150 la Savane, 80 Saint Martin
- before midnight (Saint Martin's hour 97150) by post, to the following address: Center de Secours de Saint Martin, lot 80 la Savane, 97150 Saint Martin (postmark as proof)
Any incomplete file posted after midnight will be automatically rejected.
