On the occasion of the Livre Paris fair, which takes place from March 19 to 23, 2020, the overseas ministry, in partnership with Outremers360 °, is organizing a literary competition on the acrostic theme. A competition open to all.
An acrostic is a short poem, the initials of each line read from top to bottom form a word related to the subject of the poem. The form can be rhymed or not, rhythmic or free.
Like Apollinaire who wrote acrostics forming the name of his beloved Lou:
Lnight my heart at night is very sweet and very blonde
O Lou the pure sky today like a wave
Un heart mine follows you to the end of the world
The ACROSTICHES 2020 competition invites participants to write a poem forming the word OVERSEAS !
And describing the representation or the feeling of the editor in relation to overseas territories. What does the word OUTREMER mean to you? A description ? A feeling ? A membership?
Describe it with your words, your emotions and take the members of the jury on a journey to try to win the 2020 literary prize of the overseas ministry!
Send us your best poem before March 6, Paris time and try to win a book prize worth 300 euros as well as the publication of your work on the Outremers 360 ° site!
To participate, go to the website of the French overseas department: http://www.outre-mer.gouv.fr/concours-acrostiches-2020
