0

On the evening of August 25, a general surveillance patrol from the Saint-Martin PSIG witnessed a material accident between a two-wheeler and a vehicle in Marigot. At the sight of the patrol that stops at the scene to secure the area, the driver of the scooter flees on foot. Before being arrested by the military, he separated from a 380-caliber COLT pistol and several sachets of narcotic drugs, including 23 g of cannabis and 5 g of heroin. He was immediately placed in police custody. Last Tuesday, the respondent was referred to the Prosecutor of Basse Terre in Guadeloupe in order to be tried in immediate appearance. At the end of the hearing, he was sentenced to 6 months' imprisonment. _AF
