Every weekend until August 26, 2018, the “August in the cinema” operation resumes service.
Initiated by the community, this completely free invitation to open-air cinema will move from district to district to the delight of the inhabitants. Renewed this year despite the reconstruction, it is a cultural event which allows young and old who do not go on vacation to enjoy entertainment.
In total, more than 8 sessions are offered to the public, cartoons, science fiction, adventure film, there will be something for all ages and all tastes! This traveling cinema will settle down in the four corners of the French part of the island, from the sports center of Grand-Case, passing through the socio-cultural area of Colombier and will end in apotheosis on Sunday August 26 on the Place du Kiosque du Front from Marigot for the distribution of the American blockbuster "Black Panther". A most enjoyable program not to be missed! JB

• Sunday August 19: “Early man” at Concordia in the SIG.Semsamar car park. (Cartoon)
• Saturday August 25: “Aliens ate my homework” at Sandy Ground in the MJC parking lot. (Science fiction film)
• Sunday August 26: “Black panther” in Marigot on the Place du Kiosque du Front de mer. (Fantastic-action film)
