Saint-Martin will host part of the 15th EPL Conference


The 15th edition of the Conference of Local Public Enterprises (EPL) Overseas will take place in Saint-Martin and Guadeloupe from November 28 to December 2. This year it will have “a strong political dimension with the general theme of economic and social recovery and the resilience of the Overseas Territories in the face of the various challenges”. 200 participants are expected for this congress from all overseas.

They will arrive on Sunday afternoon 27 in Saint-Martin and will spend a day there. They will begin their work on Monday during a plenary session on the theme of "the economy  mixed, source of innovation and resilience at the service of the territories". The prefect Vincent Berton, the president of the COM Louis Mussington and Patrick Jarry, the president of the federation of the EPL will speak. Alain Richardson should also intervene in his capacity as president of Semsamar.

Then, a field visit is planned by Semsamar to assess the rehabilitation operations following the passage of Irma. Later in the afternoon, delegates will fly to Guadeloupe.
