RUGBY / Christian Pérez Trophy: A weekend that gives new life to the young rugby players of the Archiball!

0

It is well known, travel forms youth! Present at the Christian Pérez Trophy on Guadeloupean soil, the young rugby players of the Archiball were able to re-engage in their favorite discipline against renowned adversaries!

What happiness! On the lawn of the municipal stadium of Goyave, the young shoots of the president, David Rondeau were able to discover or rediscover the joys brought to them by practicing their favorite sport, on the occasion of the 9th edition of the Christian Pérez Trophy.

Our little champions of Saint-Martin took the plane last Friday to compete all day on Saturday, a great competition bringing together teams from Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana and the Northern Islands.

From a sporting point of view, our two teams involved in the tournament (- 8 years old and - 10 years old) were up to the event. In particular the youngest of the “Archis” who performed well by climbing to the 3rd step of the podium. Congratulations to them and to their Saint-Martin Rugby Union teammates who have joined the squad. Unity is strength !

Players, coaches, managers, not to mention the accompanying parents appreciated this trip to Guadeloupe land. Like it or not, sport is magic! And more particularly in the midst of ovalism where the rules of the game encourage learning to respect others, courage, team spirit and a sense of solidarity. Saint Martin needs it right now!

Note that the Archiball U14 and U12 will travel respectively on June 9 in Guadeloupe and June 15 in Martinique.

Finally, know that the leaders are already preparing for next season, all good will and sponsors are welcome! _AF
