Prime Minister Edouard Philippe detailed last Wednesday a series of announcements to improve the attractiveness of France and overseas during the Interministerial Tourism Council. Among the first measures, “limit the deadline for issuing visas in 48 new countries to 10 hours by June 2018” and “reduce the waiting time at borders at airports, to 30 minutes for European nationals and 45 minutes for the rest as of January 1, 2018 ”. The organization of the second national overseas tourism meetings, on September 25, is also one of the government's priorities.
