Official presentation of the "Leo Club Safari" Charter

0

A new Club Service was launched in Saint-Martin last Sunday, sponsored by the Lions Club Fort Louis and Lions Club Doyen. It is the LEO Club SAFARI, the youngest branch of the International Lions Club.

This new Club Service is made up of 13 young people between the ages of 12 and 15 who are committed to respecting the principles of aid and solidarity of the Lions Club and who act for major humanitarian causes. Leo is Leadership Experience Opportunity.

This commitment unites them around local projects of social significance for which they work on a voluntary basis while collecting the funds necessary for their realization.

The ceremony took place in the presence of the Governor of district 63, the 2nd vice-governor, the president of the Leo commission and the zone president.

Under the leadership of their president, Nakeeley FLANDERS, they already organized a fruitful collection of toys last December for the Christmas tree of the Red Cross and also donated toys to the Madwoz Association. They participate every last Saturday of the month with the Lions club Oualichi in the preparation of breakfasts for the homeless.

The succession is thus assured….

Where there is a need, there is a Leo. Long live this Club! Congratulations to everybody !
