In front of a full house, the DEAL representatives did not have time to tackle the heart of the matter: the presentation of the revised hurricane hazard mapping, which the meeting was interrupted after a few minutes.
The population, including some members who came to take the microphone, demanded that this meeting be organized in a larger room, several people being unable to enter the ICC room this morning for lack of space. But also that this technical presentation is also carried out in English, the native language of Saint-Martinois.
After some vain attempts to return to calm, the representatives of DEAL decided not to continue this meeting, to postpone it to a later date and in a more spacious place.
