This exceptional extension of the period of validity of residence permits will be validated at the legislative level by the emergency bill, presented today in the Council of Ministers, which authorizes the government to legislate by ordinance to extend the period of validity of residence permits. of stay held by foreign nationals on our territory, up to 180 days.
In doing so, the situation with regard to the stay or asylum of the foreigners concerned will be secure, without any breach of rights.
