During a press conference yesterday morning on the revision of the natural risk prevention plan (PPRN), the prefect insisted on several occasions: it must be done in "a peaceful climate", in "an atmosphere that must be done. 'be constructive in the interest of the inhabitants'. Alongside the president of the Collectivité Daniel Gibbs, Serge Gouteyron announced that the new revised PPRN will be adopted at the beginning of August of this year after a phase of consultation with the population. Eight meetings are already scheduled for May.

"I will get involved and be on the ground," assured the prefect, who said he was ready to lead other meetings if necessary. “We have to take the time to go to the neighborhoods. We will take the time to ensure that the new provisions are well understood by all ”, he stressed.

The observations and remarks that will be formulated by the population during the meetings will be taken into account in the final drafting of the regulations which is scheduled between June 7 and 20. Then the new document will go to a public inquiry from July 5 to 18. (soualigapost.com)
