The holidays are here, the torpor sets in, people leave, the children are bored ... But what are we going to do to take care of it?

To start, we can go on Wednesday at 19:30 pm to the screening of the film “Musical Chairs” at the MJC in Sandy Ground in the presence of producer Janet Carrus. The scenario is that of the love story between a couple of ballroom dancers in New York. Yet another dance film? No, because originality creeps into the treatment of a phenomenon that is emerging in the United States: ballroom dancing in a wheelchair. The film was shot in 2012 and has been praised by the cinematographic community. He notably competed with “The Artist” during the “Fred and Adele Astaire Award” festival. Its director, Susan Seiddelman, was awarded during her career with a Palme d'Or, a César as well as an Oscar and the session promises to be of quality. There are only 400 places and, to designate who will have the right to enter among the latest arrivals, the MJC may be obliged to carry preliminary musical chairs, so do not be late! _HM
