The “Now” service of the “Pôle emploi” agency makes available from this Friday, December 15, 2017, a portal whose objective is to facilitate hiring in 14 trades related to (re) construction of SXM.
You already knew the Now service, powered by Pôle Emploi, which connects candidates and employers, with no job offer or CV. In less than 5 minutes, with a few clicks, on computer, tablet or phone, recruiters and candidates fill out a form to make their needs known and off you go, the service sets out to find potential candidates.
Designed to meet emergency needs in high-tension and seasonal sectors such as hotels, restaurants, sales, home jobs, entertainment or market gardening, this free service is currently open in 21 trades and available from July 2017 in Guadeloupe and Northern Islands.
Today, the Now service is adapting and mobilizing for the reconstruction of Saint-Martin.
Thus, 14 building trades will be represented by mid-January 2018, 6 of which are operational today:
- Carpenter team leader
- Carpenter
- Roofer
- Builder
- Maneuver
- Alu lock installer / carpenter
8 others are being opened at a rate of 3 per week until mid-January:
- Drywaller
- Electrician help
- Tiler
- Electrician
- plumber
- Interior painter
- Air conditioning installer
- Exterior painter
