In order to structure the fishing industry, the Collectivity announced that the executive council has chosen the SW bigram (swaliga) for Saint-Martin (until now registered under the PP bigram of Guadeloupe). Once this bigram has been validated, our territory will have its own port registration. In addition, the council also validated the creation of a territorial shellfish farming committee, maritime fisheries and marine farming (exit deliberation from November 30, 2015). The main objective of this committee will be to promote fishing professionals and to carry out economic actions.
