Organized by Kalaboom Events, the 4th edition of the Oualichi Festival "Sxm Best Weekend" has kept all its promises on both the French and Dutch sides with an artistic program at the top!
The festivities began on Thursday, July 4, on the Marigot Sea Front with the famous "All White" evening from 18 p.m. until midnight. Nine artists performed on stage for a soul and jazz concert that thrilled the crowd.
The next day, it's time for the "Lighted Parade" which was the opportunity for all festival-goers to parade dressed in their luminous t-shirts in the streets of Philipsburg and always in music with Famer Nappy, Triple Kay Band, Red eye crew, King James, DJ Outkast & DJ Dankers from Guadeloupe.
On Saturday July 6, it is on the beach of Happy Bay that the talented artists gathered for a “Mélange” concert from 18 pm to late at night with Kanshens, Oswald, Phyllisia Ross, Patrice Roberts, VJ Lou (from Martinique ), Lady Grace, Peter J. Caribbean music: it's heavy!
The Festival ended on Sunday July 7, still on Happy Bay Beach with a frenzied "Oualichi Love Beach Party" for festival-goers!
