Ava Air will operate a service between Saint-Martin Grand-Case and Fort de France twice a week. The first booking dates are available from March 16.
Directed by David Renard, Ava Air is a regional airline based in Martinique. It was "born of a common desire of its shareholders and investors to develop intra-Caribbean exchanges". It plans to serve all of the islands in the Caribbean arc in the long term. But to start, it will connect Martinique, Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin with a Jetstream 32 type aircraft with a capacity of twenty seats.
According to the flight plan, departures from Grand-Case will be on Mondays at 10:40 a.m. and Fridays at 16:45 p.m. with respective arrivals at Fort de France at 11:55 a.m. and 18 p.m. (More details on www.soualigapost.com)
