NUTRIPARM: a major survey on food preferences

In partnership with the Department of Food, Agriculture and Forestry of Guadeloupe (DAAF), the NUTRIPARM survey is open until May 30, 2019. It is aimed at all residents of Guadeloupe, Saint -Martin and Saint-Barthélemy with a computer or a tablet. 

Everyone can participate and help develop knowledge about food in the West Indies. This survey is part of the NuTWInd scientific project.

Based on the observation of a profound change in diet and a sharp increase in the prevalence of obesity and chronic diseases over the past decades, this study aims to understand the determinants of the food choices of West Indian consumers, to assess the margins. maneuver feasible for local businesses in terms of nutritional improvement of foods, then to model dietary changes to achieve nutritional recommendations, at no additional cost. NUTRIPARM is:

• Become a volunteer player in public research around food;

• Give public decision-makers the means to formulate recommendations adapted to the reality of our territory;

• Provide professionals in the agro-processing sector with ways to improve their offer.

Entry requirements:

• be of legal age, • reside in Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin or Saint-Barthélemy

• have an individual e-mail address,
